Although the uses of cocoa in the kitchen, healthy pastries and drinks of all kinds are countless, we want to share with you one of our favourite recipes (vegan, too) that any lover of cocoa and healthy sweets must try.

The healthy cocoa and dates bonbons.

Yes, you read it right. This is the healthiest version of the classic hazelnut and chocolate bonbons we all know. They have no added sugars, sweeteners, refined flours or refined oils and are made with simple ingredients that we all have at home. You will need to:

20 pitted dates
2 tablespoons of hazelnut butter
2 tablespoons of Raw Cacao
A handful of hazelnuts

To make them, you will only have to mix the first 3 ingredients and, with the resulting mass, wrap the hazelnuts in the form of balls. If you want to take it a step further, you can coat your healthy “Ferreros” in grated coconut plus cocoa powder or in hazelnut pieces. They are the bomb!
